I've added another thing to my to-do list for this year: I want to learn how to knit. Some girls came into the coffee shop a while ago, and they sat at of the tables by the window and knitted and chatted and sipped their tea, and I thought it looked like so much fun! Okay, I'm being silly.
Well, knitting DOES look like fun, and besides that, it is a skill! I could make mittens and scarves and sweaters and.......what else? Lots!
And I would be way faster than my Mom, who is currently working on a pirate sweater for Stephen. It's really cute, it's got striped sleeves and a skull and cross-bones. But by the time she finishes it, it will probably be just the right size for Marie's next kid, "Colin", who is due this January.
So, everyone expect to receive scarves this Christmas.....

I want to learn how to knit too! Well, I've knitted scarves before, but I only know how to do one stitch and not anything else. I have a website somewhere that a friend recommended to be really good. When I can get online on my comupter I'll find it and email it to you! Then we can get on skype and have our own kitting group! I bet Beth would join us. : )
looking forward to that scarf... ;-)
Oh I'm with you my dear! Grace and Hannah both knit, and I always fee like such a loser! ONce I tried, but instead of a rectangle, it came out a triangle. OOps! I'm scared for life.
