25 facts about ME!

This was kinda fun. Sometimes I think about myself too much.

1. I HATE hot weather. Going hot places for vacations just does NOT appeal to me. Some people like the Bahamas or Costa Rica wherever. Give me Alaska or Canada for vacation any day! In the summer, I like air conditioning. I only go out at night. I don't really like the beach much either, but I like that it is there. I realized recently that I just have to live by a body of water.

2. I firmly believe in the existence of dinosaurs and sea monsters. I mean, that they are still around, hiding in remote areas of the world, like lakes in Scotland and swamps in Africa, and, of course, in the depths of the oceans.

3. I have a horrible habit of reading ahead a page or two in exciting places in books. I can't stand the suspense!

4. I LOVE suspense movies. Alfred Hitchcock rocks.

5. I have a novel partially planned in my head. I know the characters, just not the complete plot. It's been on the back burner of my mind for 4 ish years now. Eventually, I will write it.

6. I was supposed to be born with water in my head (hydrocephalus), and my mom was asked when she wanted to schedule the abortion. (I guess they weren't going to try using a shunt like they would now.) She said never, and I ended up being her easiest delivery and a perfectly healthy little baby.

7. At one time, my door was covered in Jonathan Taylor Thomas posters and pictures.

8. At the age of seven my boyfriend and I agreed to marry each other on the bus on the way home from school one day. (I think he has forgotten, as he is engaged to someone else at the moment.....)

9. I have visited 17 of the 50 states, which isn't very much. I should really get out there more.

10. I've been driving for 7 years, and I have never driven outside the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

11. I have had pneumonia twice.

12. My first car was a 1978 MG convertible.

13. I have a one-of-a-kind signed poster of Quin Delport from Shackleton. (Yeah, be jealous)

14. I've never been a jewelry person.

15. If I ever had a dog, I would name it Captain!

16. Every few weeks I come up with a name for a dog I don't have yet.

17. I was named after my maternal grandmother Rosemary, but I look just like my paternal grandmother Joanne

18. Murder She Wrote is my favorite tv show of all time. I think.

19. I love happy endings in stories, but my favorite author is actually Charles Dickens. (Yeah, I don't get that either.)

20. I have been maid-of-honor twice, and a bridesmaid twice. Lots of fancy dresses in my closet never to be worn again.

21. I don't really like wearing skirts THAT much. I'd much rather be forever in blue jeans.

22. Joseph is my favorite person in the Bible. Whenever I read his story I always picture it as a movie (like a beautiful movie, not some weird musical, or anything about a "technicolor coat". I find that sounds too cheesy and have never seen it anyway. I'm thinking of a Ron Howard or Mel Gibson movie) and it's really beautiful inside my head.

23. I have lived in 8 different houses.

24. Snowmen make me happy.

25. I am absolutely terrified of frogs!!
