shopping with God

Seriously, God is the BEST shopping partner. Whenever I find fantastic deals, or am surprised at the checkout that something was actually less than the tag said, I feel that God was right there, shopping with me! And I believe it is true.

A while ago at Goodwill, I found a big plastic tub and an old blender, together for 5.99, to finish off my paper-making kit.

I also recently found 7 old zippers for 25 cents each! And that is a deal, let me tell you! These zippers had never been used, and they will be perfect for the bags I make.

And when I needed to find something to use in a laptop bag I was making for a friend, I found something perfect I could cut up and use, and it ended up being 50% off, and I had no idea until I got up to the checkout. It was just special!

And two days ago, I was going to buy some bread, and the bread we like is not the best price, and it was nearly 50% off on sale! I grabbed 4 loaves, because we now have a big freezer, just for these situations.

I absolutely adore thrift stores and sales. It's shopping trips like these that just make my day! They make me feel a little more alive and like anything is possible.

This could be exaggerating things a bit....
